As participant of the ICBIC-19 you can profit from special rates when booking your flights with SWISS. Please read the information and instructions from SWISS on how to benefit from this offer.
To travel within Switzerland you best rely on our national railway (SBB). It oparates a very narrow network of train, bus as well as boat connections and you can practically go anywere without needing your own car.
If you intent to stay in Switzerland before and/or after ICBIC-19 in order to explore the country, we would recommend the Swiss Travel Pass. With this all-in-one ticket, you can step on any train, bus or boat for as long as the validity of your pass allows*.
If you prefer to stay in Interlaken and surroundings and to only use the free afternoon to travel, then a Day Pass would be the ideal solution*.
In Interlaken itself, everything can be reached by foot. However. if you prefer to go by bus, we would suggest buying a day ticket for the local network.
* For some connections the Swiss Travel Pass / Day Pass covers only part of the ticket price. See "Validity - Swiss Travel Pass / Day Pass" at the right.
We may organize an airport shuttle form Zurich Airport to Interlaken. Please do not yet book your train tickets.
