Prof. Dr. Ricarda Törner

Ricarda Törner was trained in pharmaceutical / medicinal chemistry at LMU in Germany (Munich), before studying spectroscopy in France (Université Lille1) and Poland (Jagiellonian University Krakow).  She continued on for her PhD project on innovative isotope labeling schemes for NMR of large protein complexes with Jerome Boisbouviers at the IBS in Grenoble, a leading center in structural biology. In 2022, she joined Hari Arthanari at Harvard Medical School (Boston) as a postdoc, supported with a 2 year DFG fellowship. Here she contributed her NMR expertise to several projects, the multidisciplinary project on NADPH oxidase, Parp1 inhibitors, the dynamic complex of transcription factor AIRE and TAD-Taz2, and the intrinsically disordered regulatory domain of the cell-cycle kinase Wee1, her prime project in Boston.

Since February 1st, 2025 Ricarda started her positon as assistant professor tenure track at UZH.
