Roland Sigel, Professor for bioinorganic chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, is the new Dean of the Faculty of Science since August 1st, 2017.
Roland Sigel would like to put his focus on the co-operation over the different disciplines at the Faculty of Science. The researchers should try to even more benefit from the variety of disciplines which are located at the Faculty of Sciences. The interdisziplinarity should be strengthened by research focus programs and by specific appointments of new professors and promotion of young researchers.
We wish Roland Sigel a successful start in his new position.
