HTEL Opening Event

Unlocking Automation, Accelerating Chemistry.

After a long time in the making, the UZH High-Throughput Experimentation Lab (HTEL) has very recently opened its doors to support the research at the UZH Department of Chemistry with state-of-the-art robotic tools and automation solutions. The HTEL not only complements the very powerful Swiss research infrastructure in this field, but also assumes a pioneer role in the educational landscape at the UZH DoC as cornerstone in our new study program Lab Automation and Chemical Data Science.

Celebrate this joyous occasion with us and join the HTEL Opening Event on February 12, 2026! Together with our partner Chemspeed, we invite you to learn about powerful automation approaches in chemistry and cutting-edge developments towards self-driving labs in our scientific symposium. Afterwards, find out all you wanted to know about the UZH HTEL during the Apéro and Open Lab Hour.
